The Memphis Public Libraries’ Spring LEGO Space Camp, made possible by The Irvin Lansky Foundation, will introduce rising 4th – 7th grade children (children ages 9-12) to building and programming robots using LEGO Mindstorms. Students will learn mechanical design, construction, programming, and teamwork skills. Students will work in small teams using LEGO blocks, motors, and sensors. Students use a computer to program the robot to move, react, and makes sounds in order to solve challenges. The camp will be held from:
