The latest library branch isn't a branch at all - it's a 40 foot bus, and it's traveling around Memphis to bring materials and
services to everyone.
Hundreds of people every month take a ride on the InfoBUS the mobile services unit designed to meet the needs of non-English speaking populations in Memphis. They find materials and services that will help them learn or
improve their English skills, find employment, and gain US. citizenship. They also find a wide range of books, videos, DVDs, and audio cassettes and CDs for fun and enjoyment.
- FOUR INTERNET-READY COMPUTERS AT YOUR SERVICE
- With the magic of technology, InfoBUS is able to provide
four computers fully loaded with Internet, word processing, and other software capabilities, including access to Rosetta Stone© Language Learning Library. The Internet connection is now faster than ever thanks to a new satellite connection. For the convenience of customers, L and foreign language web sites of interest have been bookmarked.

- Books, workbooks, videos, DVDs, audio cassettes and CDs help non-English-speaking people learn English or improve their reading. writing. and speaking skills in English.
- A LIBRARY OF MANY LANGUAGES
- InfoBUS has materials representing 23 different languages.
Arabic, Armenia, Bosnian, Cambodian, Chinese, Croatian,
English. Farsi, French, Hmong. Japanese, Korean, Latin,
Laotian, Persian, Portuguese, Punjabi, Serbian, Somali,
Spanish, Swahili, Tagalong, and Vietnamese.
- A LARGE SPANISH READING COLLECTION
- The variety of materials for both children and adults that you might find in a branch, you'll find in InfoBUS - in Spanish You'll find Spanish books about general interest areas such as religion, health, and
art as well as entertainment videos and DVDs in Spanish.
