Bookstock 2013 Authors - Williams

Author David Wesley Williams is coming to Central Library on Saturday, October 5 for Bookstock 2013.David Wesley Williams is author of the novel Long Gone Daddies, which was published by John F. Blair in March 2013. It is the story of three generations of guitar players, who live in and around Memphis.

Readers can find more of Williams’ work in Harper Perennial's Fifty-Two Stories, The Pinch Literary Journal, The Common, and Night Train.

Williams said he enjoys blogging about music and writing at The Soundcheck and the Fury.

His favorite blues singer is Charley Patton.

Williams is a sports editor at The Commercial Appeal.

He will promote his book, Long Gone Daddies, at Bookstock 2013 on Saturday, October 5 at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.
