Bookstock 2013 Authors - Moore to Phillips

Author Daniel Moore is coming to Central Library on Saturday, October 5 for Bookstock 2013.Daniel Moore has a heart that is tender toward God and a passion for people. He acknowledges the love of God and teaches to make the Gospel plain. Moore’s passionate and practical speaking has resonated within the Church and community.

Moore has also served in a variety of roles including pastor, police officer, administrator, speaker, and author. He pinned Fear Not, an inspirational and heartfelt handbook on how readers can reclaim what fear has taken from them.

Moore and his wife, Donette, relocated to Memphis, Tennessee and founded Overflow Life Memphis, a non-profit organization meant to help build confidence and overflowing hope within the people of Memphis. The mission is to establish Overflow Life Centers throughout the city where anyone can come for encouragement, education, and empowerment.

He has earned degrees in Business Administration and a seminary Master’s degree. Moore is married with two sons, Samuel and Luke.

Author Adriane O'Neal is coming to Central Library on Saturday, October 5 for Bookstock 2013.Adriane O’Neal is 51 years old and is married to Attorney Darrell J. O’Neal of Memphis, Tennessee. They have two children, Misty and Darius.

She graduated from Melrose High School, class of 1980, and then spent seven years in the Navy. Later in 1994, she graduated from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public School Music K-12. O’Neal also earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2009.

Using her own personal experiences, O’Neal wrote Prayer, Praise, and Worship, an encouraging piece that inspires readers to have a personal relationship with God through prayer, praise, and worship.

O’Neal taught in the Memphis City Schools for eight years. She currently works for her husband as office manager.



Author Bianca Phillips is coming to Central Library on Saturday, October 5 for Bookstock 2013.Bianca Phillips is the author of Cookin’ Crunk: Eatin’ Vegan in the Dirty South. She blogs daily on Vegan Crunk about vegan meals she’s eating at her Memphis home, as well as vegan options at local restaurants, vegan products, and cookbook reviews.

Phillips is associate editor at the Memphis Flyer, where she reports on LGBT news, crime, environmental issues, and city government.

She lives in Midtown with her dog Paul, a lab-mutt mix, a rescued pit bull, and six cats.

Phillips will promote her book at Bookstock 2013 on Saturday, October 5 at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.



Author Gigi Phillips is coming to Central Library on Saturday, October 5 for Bookstock 2013.Gigi Phillips is the creator and publisher of books highlighting places and people from the most beautiful states in the country. From her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, Phillips started her company in 2004 doing what she loves – producing beautiful books about the personalities, businesses and organizations that hail from the states we call home.

Phillips has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, publishing and advertising. Along with a talented team of award-winning photographers, writers and designers, Gigi Phillips and the Image Publishing team combine great photography with excellent editorial, providing insight into the rich history that makes every state and organization unique.

Phillips will promote her book Tennessee: My Homeland at Bookstock 2013 on Saturday, October 5, 2013, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library (3030 Poplar Avenue).
