The Business and Science Department combines such diverse areas as the hard sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, etc.), cooking, gardening, home repair, construction, technology, engineering, consumer health, finance and investing, psychology, self-help, insurance, transportation, computer science and more.

Some topics require special attention - and extra materials. Each of our six centers focuses on different areas: consumer health, automotive and appliance repair, small business, nonprofit organizations, personal finance, and jobs and careers.
