Free Food, Fun, Live Performances & More at Crenshaw’ Library’s Christmas Party


It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Cornelia Crenshaw Library (531 Vance Ave.), just in time for the Annual Christmas Party at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017.

A day of fun is planned for customers of all ages!

10 a.m. – noon – Photo opp with Santa Claus (Bring your camera phone!)

11 a.m. – Live play performance of “Shake Your Fairy ‘Tale’ Feather” by the Memphis Black Arts Alliance

Noon – Free luncheon sponsored by the Memphis Business Journal staff

“We want our customers to experience this season of giving and good cheer!” said event organizer and Crenshaw Library Branch Manager Inger Upchurch.

Free food, fun and age-appropriate gifts will be available for customers of all ages, along with an arts-and-crafts station. From Christmas music to toys and lots of cheer from volunteers, this annual party will be the neighborhood highlight!

“It’s Christmas Central at its best and a bit of light and fresh air for our customers to escape into Crenshaw Wonderland! That’s why this annual party is so important!” Upchurch concluded.
