Lay down the next hit track to come out of Memphis. Record and produce audio using sound isolation booths and professional sound mixing equipment. CLOUD901 resides in the Benjamin L. 5 Fridays of Jazz

Fridays have never sounded so good! Join us for 5 Fridays of Jazz at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library (3030 Poplar Avenue). Offered in partnership with the Levitt Shell and the Memphis Library Foundation, this series of free concerts offers customers a chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy soulful sounds by local entertainers. Front Porch Music Series

The Levitt Shell's Front Porch Music and Cultural Series is free and happens the second Tuesday of every month. Domingo Montes and Los Cantadores will help jump start Hispanic Heritage Month. See this event on Facebook or check out our calendar of events.

Musical Mondays at Cordova Library

It’s hard to have a bad day once inside the doors of Cordova Library (8457 Trinity Road). That’s where customers of all ages enjoy Musical Storytime on Mondays at 4 p.m. and free Ukulele Classes on Mondays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. These new family-friendly classes, with help from the Memphis Ukulele FlashMob, offer customers interactive and educational entertainment. 30 Days of Opera

Once again, Opera Memphis will present 30 days of Opera.  Every day in September, somewhere in Memphis, there will be opera. Designed to show the city we love what we love about opera, every performance will be free and open to the public.  This year the Pop-Up Arias by Opera Memphis will be in only 5 of the library branches starting on Tuesday, Sept 5 at Central Library.
