| Eligibility: | Minority owned and controlled businesses. Prospective borrowers must show experience in the field and be in an expansion mode. |

| Services: | The West Tennessee Venture Capital Corporation makes loans to minority-owned businesses within a 150-mile radius of Memphis or in the 201 counties that TVA services. Loans range from a minimum of $25,000 to a maximum of
$300,000. (A Federal license number under the Small Business Investment Act
of 1958)
The Southern Cooperative Development Fund lends to both start-ups and existing minority-owned businesses. Loans range from $25,000 to $500,000.
Conduct workshops for minority business owners to assist them to start businesses and expand. |
