June 3 to July 29, MEMPHIS READS will be a part of
Tell Me About
A Book!, the Library’s annual Adult Summer Reading Club program
for book clubs. After that, the blog will remain an active venue
for book reviews and discussions.

on the web, or sign up for e-mail newsletters to have news of
the hottest new titles and authors, professional reviews of the
titles you want to know about, and even recommendations from our
own staff sent directly to you. BookLetters is made possible by a
grant from Mid South Reads and The Assisi Foundation.

- See lists of the top fiction and
non-fiction books according to the New York Times Book Review.
Find out the location and status of copies of the books in the library collection. Also check out what

Book Reviews
- What Do I Read Next? Online offers over 93,000
book reviews. This interactive service can be found on
Infotrac from the
Databases
on the Library Web page. The service offers search by title,
author, subject, keyword, time period, geographic location, character
and reading level to discover your next reading adventure.
- Granger's World
of Poetry
- This database of poetry includes 250,000 poem citations, 13,000
poems in full text, 7,500 excerpts, biographies of leading poets,
and bibliographies on hundreds of poems and poets. The database
can be searched by keyword, first line, author, title, and subject.

Public Library E-Audio Books
- A digital collection of hundreds of audio book titles that
can be downloaded for a borrowing fee of
$5 per title. E-audio books can be listened to on a desktop computer
or laptop computer, on portable devices like PDA's and smart-phones,
and in many cases can be copied to compact discs.
