WriteMemphis Poetry Slam Workshop

Pre-registration required.  Participants will meet on Thursday afternoons through November 29 from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm.  Poetry Slam format will guide the events and activities over the course of this program.  The format puts a dual emphasis on writing and performance, encouraging poets to focus on what they're saying and how they're saying it.  The program will culminate in a performance event on Saturday evening December 1.
