2009 was a little different in that projects did not have to be finished by the end of the camp, and new projects could continue to be added after the camp was over. Projects can be viewed by going to the Teen Technology Camp 2009 Gallery on the Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) website.
The Memphis Public Library & Information Center's Teen Tech Camp was held July 21 - 25 at the Central Library. The camp's goal was (as they all are) to introduce new media technologies to area teens as well as provide valuable hands-on experience. This years camp followed the same format as 2007 with the addition of new music and sound editing software. Teen Tech Camp is free, thanks to a grant from the Society for Information Management Memphis (SIM Memphis).
Teen Technology Camp is a week long technology-based Summer Camp for teens aged 13 to 15 sponsered by the Memphis Chapter of the Society for Information Management and the City of Memphis Public Library.
