Library’s Summer Tech Camps to Move Teens Full ‘STEAM’ Ahead

Hundreds of local teens will have the exclusive opportunity to learn cutting-edge skills, like coding and music production, at several free summer camps offered at Memphis Public Libraries.

Memphis Public Libraries’ 2017 Summer Camps will provide 250 tweens and teens with the optimal summer experience during several STEAM camps, covering Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

Several partnering agencies joined forces with Memphis Public Libraries and state-of-the-art teen lab CLOUD901 to make the camps possible, such as the Memphis Library Foundation, AutoZone, Memphis Music Initiative, First Robotics, West Tennessee STEM Hub, and the Society for Information Management (SIM).

Together, these organizations developed the following interactive summer camps for Memphis youth.
