Zero to Three, a national non-profit organization, provides information
on child development between ages 0 to 3 years. It also assists
parents in understanding and evaluating their child’s growth progress.
- Verb: It’s What You Do
In an effort to battle childhood obesity, the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease and Prevention,
created the Verb website. This website, aimed at 9- to 13- year-olds,
promotes motion and activity. The website is interactive encouraging
a child to create a character, choose activities and find locations
locally to participate in sports and other healthful activities.
