The National Institutes of Health's Consumer Health Information Page is a growing collection of the most requested NIH publications.
Publications may be found from the National Cancer Institute, the National Eye Institute, the National Institute on Aging,
the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, the National Institute on Mental Health, and many more Institutes. The titles
of publications are listed under each Institute, and publications may also be searched by subject key words. Many helpful
publications that provide valuable medical and health information in lay language are found here.

Healthfinder is a gateway consumer health and human services web site from the United States government that can lead you
to selected online publications, clearinghouses, databases, web sites, and support and self-help groups, as well as the government
agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public. Developed by the
United States Department of Health and Human Services, in collaboration
with other federal agencies, and coordinated by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, the U. S. government
has provided much valuable health information from both governmental and non-governmental sources for the health consumer
on this site.
