Search Tips

The default search is an assumed OR search. You may use the expressions AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. The * symbol may be used as a wildcard. For example:

book sale

finds Library Web pages containing the words 'book' or 'sale'

book or sale

same as above

book and sale

finds Library Web pages containing both 'book' and 'sale'

book and not sale

finds Library Web pages containing 'book' but not 'sale'

(book and not sale) and review

finds Library Web pages  containing 'review', and 'book' but not 'sale'

book*

finds Library Web pages containing words starting with 'book', like bookmobile and books
