Judaica Book Sale is a Great Way for Customers to Support Library
By: Herman Markell, Friends of the Library
Bargain lovers, mark your calendars for August 1! It's time for the annual Judaica Book Sale at Second Editions Bookstore, located in the lobby of the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library (3030 Poplar Avenue).
For a very limited time, book lovers can purchase these specialty items for less at the best used book store in the Mid-South! With more than one thousand selections from fiction to nonfiction, Second Editions Bookstore offers great buys at great prices, and every dollar from the bookstore helps to support Memphis Public Libraries, programs, and resources.
Friends of the Library, the sponsoring agency for Second Editions, contributed more than $400,000 to the Library for the past two years, and plans are underway to exceed the total this year.
So, put your dollars to work for a good cause! The Judaica Book Sale, starting August 1, is a great place to start!
