Event Details

Hey, fans of comics, movies, anime, manga, video games and pop culture in general! Come check out legendary comic creators Matt Wagner and Gene Ha as well as more than 50 local vendors selling art, comics, toys, prints, graphic novels, art supplies, knick-knacks and more! Matt and Gene will be signing all day.

We will have:

  • Free graphic novels for the first 200 in attendance! (We have Grendel, Mae, Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, One Punch Man, Demon Slayer, Heartstopper, Hilo, Nimona and My Hero Academia, to name just a few.)
  • Arts and crafts, children's storytime and face painting for the little ones!
  • Cosplay contest with the winners receiving gift cards!
  • A trivia contest with the winner receiving a gift card and trophy!
  • Super Smash Bros. Tournament with the winner also receiving a gift card and trophy!
  • A cosplay parade for all the little ones!
  • Food trucks for hungry comic fans!

  • 11:00PM: Trivia Contest (Meeting Room A & B)
  • 11:00PM: Children's Storytime (Children's Department)
  • 12:00PM: Super Smash Bros. Tournament (CLOUD901)
  • 1:00 PM: Panel discussion w/ Matt Wagner & Gene Ha (Main Lobby)
  • 2:00 PM: Cosplay Contest (Main Lobby)

Registration will be open for Cosplay and the Super Smash Bros. Tournament so please check the MPL's events calendar for these event postings. We hope to see you there!
