All Girls Robotics Camp Application

This robotics camp will focus on the engineering design process of designing, creating, and exploring opportunities of robot design. This highly interactive STEM summer program will empower young girls with fun and engaging science opportunities by building knowledge, curiosity, and self esteem. This camp is free and lunch is provided.

By selecting "yes" you agree that the participant of the camp can be filmed and photographed for grant compliance, and you give the Memphis Public Library & Information Center permission and rights to use the camp participant’s image(s) and / or voice(s) for broadcast on WYPL–TV 18 and WYPL Radio, photographic image, or written submissions in Memphis Public Library’s publications, social media, and displays. This release is made without charge to the Memphis Public Library & Information Center now or in the future, and it entails no obligations, legal or otherwise, on the part of Memphis Public Libraries or its broadcast services.

Camp Guidelines

Guidelines Include:

  1. Students must be signed-in each day that they attend camp.
  2. Students must dress in closed toe shoes and clothes that may get stained or messy
  3. Lunch will be provided. Youth can bring their own food as well as we understand a participant may have other dietary restrictions.
  4. Students will be under the supervision of artists and program coordinators. They will be allowed to leave once an approved parent/guardian has picked them up.
  5. Students will be asked to follow directions, and be courteous and respectful to teachers, assistants and fellow campers.
  6. Students should always get the teacher’s permission before using supplies and equipment.
  7. Students should always pick up after themselves and put away supplies and equipment when they are done with them.
  8. Never touch another camper’s artwork without his or her permission.
  9. Students should always wait their turn when using supplies and equipment or taking part in activities.
  10. Students should always do their best.
