Title: Title ClerkDepartment: Risk Management Reports To: Collections Manager Schedule: TBD Location: Nonconnah FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Responsibilities1.Serve our members. 2.Provide support to third party title vendor pertaining to the recording, tracking, and releasing of titles and UCC 3.Coordinate relationships with ancillary loan product vendors including the scheduling of training, reporting of sales to management team, posting of premium payments, and submission of monthly vendor invoices including debt protection, GAP, and 4.Process all consumer loan modification requests including substitution of collateral and addition/removal of debt protection, 5.Maintain extensive knowledge of title and insurance internal policies and NCUA and state regulations. 6.Consistently deliver high level of service with members and staff to ensure all transactions are handled professionally and 7.Support goals of department and company by cross selling other loan, share and ancillary products 8.Must maintain strictly confidential information pertaining to the Credit Association, member, and employee business. 9.Maintains regulatory compliance including the Bank Secrecy Act. 10.Follows the CARE and QA Service Standards and maintains excellent understanding of FECA products and services. 11.Participates in ongoing training for professional and personal development. 12.Maintains a positive, professional attitude and works well with a team. 13.All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications1.Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent education and work experience. Financial Institution experience preferred, including understanding of credit union philosophy and knowledge of credit union rules and regulations. 2.Thorough knowledge of title and insurance terminology, compliance, and regulatory 3.Detail oriented and excellent time management 4.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with members, vendors, co-workers and management 5.Excellent written and verbal communication and basic math skills. 6.Must be accurate, organized, attentive to details, and manage time well. 7.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
