GRAY TELEVISION (WMC-TV)-CHIEF PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED


 

Job Summary/Description:  

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Chief Videographer to work independently and as a member of the news team. We need someone with a creative eye, technical expertise, and a can-do attitude. You’ll also need to understand the importance of visual composition, natural sound, and quality lighting. The successful candidate must be able to deliver great video daily in our very competitive market.

In addition to shooting and editing news stories, our chief will manage our fleet, gear, and other operational duties as assigned by management.

Please note, the primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the information listed above.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in film, photography, television, news, or related field, or equivalent professional experience– Proven experience as a digital video storyteller with strong camera and editing skills– Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite: Premier, Photoshop– Demo reel is required– Ability to prioritize and address multiple project with varying production timelines– Experienced in still photography preferred but not required– Must be energetic, positive and great to work with– Must be highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team– Excellent communication and organizational skills

Required Education

Bachelors or better in Film and Video Production or related field.

Bachelors or better in Photography or related field.
