Innovate Memphis Seeks an Executive Director

JOB DESCRIPTION: Executive Director, Innovate Memphis
·A deep commitment to high quality, professional work;

· Previous experience or relationship with public and private funding or be able to provide other guidance in securing grants (as needed);

· Ability to lead large scale transformations that involve multiple stakeholders, constituencies, and/or agencies;

· More than five years of project or program management experience;

· At least three years of experience developing and managing a high performing team;

· At least three years of building trust with funders, clients, and staff;

· Understanding the relationships between various levels of government (local, county, state) and relevant policymaking bodies;

·Track record of establishing targets and delivering measurable results on time and within budget;

·Direct experience working with high-ranking government or private sector leaders;

· Ability to articulate and lead by the organization’s values and definitions of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism; and

· Ability to thoughtfully communicate with and respectfully engage diverse stakeholders around a shared vision for achieving results.

Candidates with expertise in process improvement, human-centered design, performance management, anthropology and ethnographic research, marketing and storytelling, fundraising, strategy, or innovation are preferred. 

Salary:  $112,500-$127,500, plus health, vision, and dental benefits and a 401k matching program.
