Junior Achievement of Memphis seeks Seasonal K-8 Coordinator

Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South is looking for seasonal K-8 Coordinators to assist with the delivery and execution of JA’s programs, specifically JA in a Day and JA Inspire, during peak season (April-June). This person will collaborate with the programs team to assist with the coordination of elementary and middle school programs, provide administrative support, and engage with schools on scheduled program days. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and energetic with a passion for educating children. The position will require a flexible schedule.

Role Title: Project-Based Learning Opportunity – K-8 CoordinatorWork Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-3:30pm (subject to change as needed)Compensation: $12.00/Hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

School Engagement● Work with the Program Manager to onboard schools for JA in a Day and JA Inspire● Assist in the coordination of student and school information with school liaisons● Prepare and transport materials for program delivery at schools● Assist the Program Manager with data collection and data entry into BCRM (a customer relationship management system)

Program Management● Assist with the facilitation of orientation and training sessions for volunteers and educators● Provide “day-of” support for all JA in a Day and JA Inspire program dates● Assist with program material distribution to volunteers and educators● Coordinate program support items, such as meals and thank you gifts for volunteers and/or educators

Volunteer Management● Work with the Community Engagement Manager to maintain organized records of volunteer information● Assist with volunteer coordination from recruitment to placement● Other duties as assigned
