LEAD ELECTRONIC METER TECHNICIAN (Open dates 4/12/22 – 5/13/22)

DUTIES: Train and direct Electronic Meter Technician (s) and maintain, repair,
test, calibrate and program electronic/electro-mechanical industrial
metering devices and related instruments.
Associate degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication or Computer
Engineering Technology. Must successfully complete Color Blind I test.
Must successfully complete Placement (Group 004 “Electronics
Technicians”)/Performance Exercises. Must have a valid driver’s license
from state of residence.
Works in shop majority of time under good conditions; occasionally
works outside near construction sites. Subject to hazards of electrical
shocks, medium lifting and climbing ladders.

PAYMENT ADJUSTOR PROCESSOR (Part-Time) Open dates 4/12/22 – 4/26-22
DUTIES: Reconcile erroneous payments; maintain control of and process
non-sufficient fund checks; set up bank draft accounts; receive
and process mail/cash payments from customers and collections
from agents; maintain control of reports; audit various computer
listings to verify and correct billing information; balance daily
transactions and checks with stubs; perform various clerical
functions and other related duties.
Must pass Division’s typing test of 30 w.p.m. Must successfully
complete (Group16B “General Clerical”)/Placement Performance
Exercises. Must successfully complete Division’s training in
basic computer skills. Must have a valid driver’s license in state
of residence.
Works inside under good conditions.

SECURITY AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN (Open dates 4/12/22 – 5/6/22)

DUTIES: Install, maintain and support security information systems hardware, software, access control
systems, automated gates, burglar alarms and CCTV network security systems to insure the
safety of all Division employees/customers.
Associate degree in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer
Science or related field plus 4-6 years of demonstrated knowledge and application of
programming, operating systems, database and/or computer hardware/networking
experience or Associate degree with at least 12 hours of college accredited computer related
courses plus 4-6 years demonstrated experience as aforementioned or High School Diploma
or General Education Development (G.E.D.) with 8-10 years demonstrated experience as
aforementioned. Job skill proficiencies in Casi Rusco Picture Perfect Access Control
System, OnGuard Access Control System, ABM Phoenix Alarm Monitoring System,
BadgePass Identifications Card System and Local and Remote CCTV Monitoring Systems
preferred. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within 1 year of entering job. Must
not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to any felony or misdemeanor to any
federal/state laws or city ordinance relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, sale,
manufacture or distribution of controlled substances, drugs or narcotics and have not been
released or discharged under any condition other than honorable from any of the armed
forces of the United States. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
Works inside and outside under varying conditions. Subject to standing, walking, climbing
ladders up to 30 feet, occasional bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, carrying and light
lifting of computers and alarm equipment/supplies. Subject to operating a bucket/lift truck for
extended periods. Subject to 24 hour call

SERVICE ADVISOR (PART-TIME) Open Dates 4/12/22 -4/27/22 

Duties: Process service requests, billing/miscellaneous inquiries and emergency calls
from customers within specific qualified parameters via telephone or web mail.
and effectively handle calls from irate/hostile customers.
Drug screening, with negative test results, is required prior to entry into this
classification. Must have successfully completed Data Entry Exercises, Group C.
Must have successfully completed Placement (Group 007 “Customer Contact
Representatives”)/Performance Exercises and Customer Service Simulation Test.
Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
Works in office. Subject to stressful environment handling customers using
abusive language, noise, eye fatigue and sitting for long periods of time. Shift
work required. Subject occasionally to mandatory overtime.

SPECIAL OFFICER (PART-TIME)
Duties: Assist in the protection and security of Division personnel and
property and any other phase of security work as directed.
High School diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.).
Must have 2 years full-time Corporate Security or law enforcement
experience. Must have a current Tennessee Armed Guard license and
possess the appropriate registration card as required by the Tennessee
Department of Commerce and Insurance (current POST certified officers
are exempt from this requirement). Must complete NIMS Training
within 1 year of entering job. Must not have been convicted of or
pleaded guilty to any felony or misdemeanor to any federal/state laws or
city ordinance. Must not have been released or discharged under any
condition other than honorable from any of the armed forces of the
United States. Must have at least 20/70 vision in each eye corrected to
20/20 with normal color vision and depth perception. Must have a valid
driver’s license from state of residence.
Works inside and outside. Subject to hazards of security work.
Shift work required.
