JOB TITLE: COMPUTER SOFTWARE SPECIALIST 3
Duties: Apply advanced-level business and information technology system practices and/or project
management methodology in analyzing information requirements to determine
hardware/software solutions; develop project plans; and implement, develop or maintain
enterprise information systems to meet project deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business with
a concentration in Information Systems or Math with a concentration in Computer Science
or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information
Technology or Information Systems courses. Must have six (6) years of experience and
meet proficiency requirements. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience as the primary support person
for a particular system or application and at least demonstrated knowledge and skills in one
(1) or more of the fields listed below. Experience and knowledge requirements will vary
according to area and departmental needs.

Database: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
Web Development: HTML, PHP, XML, AJAX, CSS JavaScript, SOAP/REST API, JSON
Applications Programming: C++, Visual Basic, .Net platform, JAVA, SQL, Crystal Reports
Desktop Support: Windows Desktop operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, Project
Management tool, Visio, desktop management, thin-client PCs, tablet/mobile devices
Works inside under good conditions. Subject to sitting for long periods of time at computer
terminals, eye fatigue, grasping/reaching for technical manuals/printouts and distinguishing
color, and occasional light lifting, bending, stooping/crouching to load computer equipment,
paper and carry materials.

considered for Computer Software Specialist 2. If there are no qualified bidders for
Computer Software Specialist 2, bidders will be considered for Computer Software

JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTING REPRESENTATIVE 5
DUTIES: Perform clerical and advanced accounting support functions for
divisions, departments and/or areas.

Must have knowledge of accounting principles and intermediate
accounting. Must have successfully completed Accounting Representative
I, II, and III and IV Training Programs. Must have successfully completed
Placement (Group 16B “General Clerical”)/Performance Exercises. Must
have successfully completed Data Entry exercises, Group B. Must have a
valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Office, majority of the time. Subject to light lifting/carrying, sitting for
long periods of time and eye fatigue. May require field inspection.

JOB TITLE: HEATING, VENTILATION & AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN 1
Duties: Install and maintain various types of heating, air
conditioning, and refrigeration equipment and controls
according to specifications and codes; and perform other
duties as directed.

Must have knowledge/skills in air conditioning and
refrigeration systems. Must have certification as
“Universal Technician” as required by EPA 40 CFR part,
subpart F. Must be able to differentiate wire colors. Must
have a valid driver’s license from state of residence. Must
successfully complete Placement (Group 03A
“Mechanics”)/ Performance Exercises and Physical
Abilities Test (PCM Level II).

Works inside and outside under varying conditions.
Subject to the hazards of chemicals, working in proximity
of steam boilers, electric equipment and operating
machinery, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping,
crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, standing/walking
for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, grasping, and
heavy lifting.

JOB TITLE: LAYOUT DESIGNER
DUTIES: Provide specifications, instructions and layout designs for installation of
electric distribution facilities/street lights; field check voltage
complaints/check electric construction for compliance to drawings,
specifications, codes and standards.

Associate degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a
minimum of 5 years drafting experience. Must successfully complete
Placement (Group 001 “Drafters”)/Performance Exercises. Must
successfully complete NIMS training within one year of entering job.
Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works inside and outside. Subject to the hazards of working in proximity of
construction; energized conductors; bending, stooping, walking and
crouching during frequent field trips; and other hazards associated with field
inspections; heavy lifting of manhole covers; climbing into manholes; light
lifting of maps, books and drafting tools/equipment; and sitting for long
periods of time.

JOB TITLE: FIELD REPAIRER WATER METERS
Duties: Install, repair and maintain ¾ inch to 2-inch residential/commercial water
meters/associated parts and water meter boxes in the field.

Must have knowledge and skills in the repair, inspection and replacement
of water meters. Must successfully complete Annual C.P.R. Certification
training and successfully completed biannual multi-media first aid course.
Must have successfully completed Placement (Group 010 “Instrument
Mechanics II”)/Performance Exercises. Must have successfully completed
Physical Abilities Test (PCM II). Must have a valid driver’s license from
state of residence.

Works outside. Subject to the hazards of weather, heavy lifting, stress
handling hostile customers, bending, stooping, crouching and kneeling
for extended periods.
