TRAINING DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST 2
Perform advanced level professional duties to facilitate, assess, design, develop, coordinate
and/or implement training and intervention programs for educational/career development,
counseling, and training Division employees.
Master’s degree in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Human Resources Development, Business,
or related area with 5 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design and development,
evaluation/testing, or organizational development plus 12 post graduate hours in Education,
Behavioral Sciences, Human Resource Development, Business or related area or a professional
certification by the American Society of Training and Development. Must successfully complete
NIMS Training within one year of entering job. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of
Works inside under good conditions. Subject to standing for long periods of time while
instructing classes and light lifting of training materials/equipment.
