SUPERVISOR, COMPENSATION HRIS
Train and supervise assigned professional/clerical support employees within area of
responsibility having the authority to select employees, transfer, promote, discipline, handle
grievances and other supervisory functions. Plan, schedule and assign work to employees;
monitor work progress and adherence to time schedules; ensure timely preparation of reports;
cost analysis reports; may perform professional level human resources activities and
compensation functions such as job analysis/evaluation, pay system development/maintenance,
update data in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), monitor position control,
conduct investigations, Total Reward Programs and special projects as assigned. Develop and
maintain reports utilizing Oracle Analytics Business Intelligence (OBIA); documenting and
testing changes in HRIS systems. Supports the enhancement and implementation of new HR
Technology and troubleshoots system issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems, or related degree. Must have 4 year’s professional progressive level experience in
Compensation, Human Resource Integrated Systems, or Data Analysis and two years of
leadership experience. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM Professional
Certification is strongly preferred. Must participate in the Supervisor Assessment Center within 3
months from date of hire. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one year of entering
the job. Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills and advanced
utilization of Excel software. Must have valid driver’s license from state of residence.
Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10
pounds of force on a regular basis; and dexterity in operating office equipment. This position
requires vision, hearing and speaking abilities. Subject to hazards at work sites during analysis.
