GENERAL LABOR POOL
(Utility Worker; Utility Worker, Stores; Mechanic Helper; Housekeeping Attendant)
Perform inside/outside general unskilled to semi-skilled manual labor duties associated with
vehicle maintenance, housekeeping, grounds maintenance and warehouse depending on job
assignment.
Must successfully complete Placement (Group 006 “General Utility and Custodial Workers”)/
Performance Exercises. Must successfully complete Physical Abilities Test (PCM Level II).
Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence. Some jobs may require that you
obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license from state of residence within trial or
probationary period after entering classification.
Works inside and outside. Subject to the hazards of heavy lifting and carrying; physical
activities such as walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, grasping. May be subject to
noise, dust and dirt. Shift work may be required depending on assignment.
