Position: Technical Media Producer

This hybrid role combines live newscast directing with automation and master control duties. Whether you’re a seasoned media professional or looking to get your foot in the door, this position will provide hands-on experience in live broadcast operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct live and pre-recorded newscasts
  • Monitor on-air streams for WMC-TV
  • Operate Ross Overdrive automation, production switchers, Chyron/VizRT graphics systems, and robotic cameras
  • Handle audio, commercial play-out, and FCC compliance
  • Work with ENPS newsroom computer systems

Qualifications

  • Digital sales experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and social media
  • Exceptional time management and leadership skills
