“Satchel Paige & Negro League Baseball” magic show
feb 22-mar 8

Tommy Terrific’s Wacky Magic will be performing a magic show about Satchel Paige and Negro League Baseball.  The show will be filled with baseball-themed magic tricks, and it will explore the life and accomplishments of baseball pitcher Satchel Paige.

weekly classes april 7 – may 12

If your kids love art, the Virtual Community Art Academy is the perfect opportunity for them! Kids 3rd-6th grade will learn to create original works of art, with the help of University of Memphis Art Education majors.

Beginning the week of January 18, the Library will be hosting LIVE virtual fitness classes each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 12 weeks.

Senior Pilates – Tuesdays at 4:00
Teen Dancefit – Wednesdays at 4:00
Family Zumba – Thursdays at 4:00

daily – schedule appointment

Tutoring is provided for grades K through 5. Our tutoring services are offered in 30 minute sessions Monday through Friday from 3:30PM to 5:30PM.



long live the king chess club
weekly meetings

MPL’s Long Live the King Chess Club has partnered with the Friday Knight Chess Club (FKCC) to present free online chess games and activities for the community. All club games are offered through Chess.com.
