Local Resources for Nonprofits

LIVEGIVEmidsouth [1] is a community information system with information that helps citizens better understand community conditions and the nonprofits serving the Mid-South. LIVEGIVEmidsouth is a free resource of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis [2].

Local Nonprofits: To create your own profile and be included in this community database, consult LIVEGIVEmidsouth’s Nonprofits & Training [3] page.

Tennessee Nonprofit Network [4]
“Tennessee Nonprofit Network serves as the statewide nonprofit association for Tennessee. The organization provides training and technical assistance, connections to resources, and sector-wide research and public policy support to nonprofits in Tennessee and those that serve Tennessee residents.”

LINC/2-1-1 [5], the Library INformation Center at Memphis Public Libraries, works in partnership with the United Way of the Mid-South as the local source for community resources. LINC maintains a large, comprehensive database of human services organizations, government agencies and volunteer groups, which can now be accessed by dialing 2-1-1. Many nonprofits in the greater Memphis area have a presence in the LINC database.
