Custodial Manager
This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Facilities Manager. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Salary starts at $45,000, depending on experience and ability. Benefits include health insurance and a 3% Simple IRA employer match after 2 years of employment.

These positions help maintain clean, welcoming, and guest-ready spaces throughout the museum. Duties may include cleaning and sanitizing public areas, restrooms, breakrooms, parking lots, grounds, exhibit areas, and back-of-house spaces. The Custodial Manager role also includes supervising custodial employees, training staff, and assisting with routine maintenance and repair tasks.
Ideal candidates should have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous custodial, housekeeping, hospitality, resort, or facilities experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable standing and moving for extended periods, working around guests, following safety and cleaning protocols, and maintaining a professional and friendly presence.
