Library of Things

The Joy Collection

Memphis Public Libraries lends non-traditional items, too! You can try before you buy, discover a new hobby, or borrow a device you’ll only need to use once. The Joy Collection is a pilot launch of MPL’s Library of Things. Five kits have been curated to offer a unique collection of items for patrons to check out and fill their summer this year with joy. Patrons of all ages can discover tools and materials to help them create, learn, connect, and explore!

All kits must be picked up and returned to the owning library. To place a hold, you must call or visit the Circulation Desk at the branch you will be borrowing from.
