
Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy and drive long-term sustainability efforts across a 71-county region.
This full-time, on-site leadership role reports directly to the President & CEO and plays a key part in advancing donor engagement, corporate partnerships, grants, and major fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading individual and major donor giving strategies
- Overseeing legacy giving efforts, including the 1955 Society
- Managing development systems (Salesforce, Instrumentl, etc.)
- Driving grants strategy and administration
- Planning and executing donor-focused events
- Supporting board engagement and community partnerships
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or philanthropy
- Proven success with major gifts, donor stewardship, and campaigns
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and grants management
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
