Now Hiring: Warehouse Handler: Mid-South Food Bank


The Mid-South Food Bank is hiring a Warehouse Handler to support its mission of changing lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South.

Since 1981, Mid-South Food Bank has worked to deliver food for today and hope for tomorrow across a 31-county service area spanning West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and Arkansas. In 2024 alone, the organization distributed over 38.7 million pounds of food, providing more than 32 million meals to neighbors in need.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, weigh, and count incoming products
• Accurately pull orders for pickup and delivery
• Load and unload shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with daily cleaning and facility upkeep
• Maintain positive working relationships with donors, volunteers, and staff
• Support additional warehouse duties as needed


 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Forklift experience (certification a plus)
• Experience in warehouse, production, or food service preferred
• Ability to complete Safe Food Handling Course
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
• Commitment to the mission of food banking
