Innovator-in-Residence (Gardening) – NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS


The Memphis Library Foundation is also seeking a Gardening Innovator-in-Residence at the Frayser Branch Library.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about gardening, sustainability, and community education.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead hands-on gardening and sustainability programs
  • Maintain library garden spaces
  • Teach community members practical, career-building skills

What You’ll Receive:

  • $10,000 annual stipend
  • Free workspace and access to resources
  • Funding for supplies and programming
  • Public recognition and community impact

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of gardening or horticulture experience
  • Knowledge of sustainable gardening, hydroponics, or landscaping
  • Experience turning your skills into a career
  • Ability to teach and engage diverse audiences
