memphis then and now – Downtown Other
NORTH MAIN STATION
Shortly after the Civil War, the Louisville and Nashville Railroad established a depot near the intersection of Main & Auction Street (now known as A.W. Willis Ave). Today the location is still a transportation center, home to the North End Terminal of the MATA Trolley’s Main Street line.
