CLOUD901’s sewing Summer camp

The Memphis Public Library presents CLOUD901’s Sewing Summer Camp. Sewing Summer Camp is a free summer camp that is dedicated to teaching teens ages 13-18 basic sewing techniques. Students will be taught hand and machine sewing and then be asked to complete projects based on the skills learned. Students will be provided a wide range of materials and fabrics to inspire them to create a one of a kind sewing project.

Ages: 13-18. Students applying must be 13 years of age by the start date of the camp.

CLOUD901 Art Camp-CLOUDAir summer camp

Ready to skate into a radical summer camp? CLOUD901 Teen Learning Lab presents our CLOUDAir summer Arts camp. CLOUDAir gives teenagers an opportunity to design and paint their own skateboards. With the help of professional instructors, students will have a chance to create stencils, use spray paint, and show off their completed pieces in an exhibition. Teen artists ages 13-18 of all skill levels are welcome to apply.  The free summer camp has two opportunities. Teens are able to choose the week that works best for them.  The camp is Monday-Friday from 10 am-4 pm. Teens are able to pick below in the application.  All supplies are provided. In-Person and Virtual: Please note the hybrid nature of this camp. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in-person; Tuesday and Thursday virtually.
Ages: 13-18. Students applying must be 13 years of age by the start date of the camp.  
Food: *Lunch provided daily via SCS meal option on days that meet in-person at the Library.

CLOUD901 Music Production Camp

This opportunity is open to teens ages 13-18. Presented by CLOUD901 Teen Learning Lab Music Staff-This will be an in-person summer camp experience. Participants in the CLOUD901 Teen Learning Lab Music Production Camp will learn the basics of music production, audio engineering, and songwriting in our studio.

Date: June 20 – June 24
Time: 10AM – 4PM

Ages: 13-18. Students applying must be 13 years of age by the start date of the camp.

CLOUD901 FILMMAKING CAMP

Students will learn the basics of video recording, sound, lighting, directing, and editing with professional equipment and software. Students will also collaborate to create their own short film. This free summer camp will be held in person at CLOUD901 Teen Learning Lab. 3030 Poplar Avenue. Monday-Friday from 10 am-4 pm. Lunch will be provided through SCS Nutrition Meal Services. Teens ages 13-18 will engage in a great curriculum and learn from professional filmmakers.  This is a week-long camp.  June 27th-July 1st

CLOUD901 robotics CAMP

Interested in Robotics? Join us as we host a great Robotics camp! This free camp is for teens ages 13-18. This week-long camp is July 25th-July 29th

From 10 am-4 pm at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library in CLOUD901 Teen Learning Lab. This camp will be in person. Food is provided through SCS nutrition. If you are interested in coding, mechanical, or engineering design, then this camp is for you!

All Girls Poetry Camp

Date: June 27 – July 1
Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM 
Location: Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library. 3030 Poplar Ave.
Ages: 11-16

Join us for the All Girls Poetry Camp at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library the week of June 27 through July 1.  We’ll meet from 10:30 to 12:30 each day. This camp is for ages 11-16. Registration limited to 15 spots so register today!


Javascript Coding Camp

Date: June 27 – July 22
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM 
Location: Three simultaneous locations: 1) Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library. 3030 Poplar Ave.; 2) Gaston Park Library, 1040 S. Third St.; 3) South Library, 1929 S. Third St.
Ages: 9-17
Cost: FREE

This 4-week JavaScript camp is hosted by Memphis Public Libraries and CodeCrew.  Ages 9-17 are encouraged to apply.  Participating Branches:  Central, Gaston Park, and South. Participants in this camp will learn about basics of Java language for webpage and mobile application building.  The JavaScript Summer Camp is led by experienced CodeCrew instructors.  Campers will meet each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-12:30p from the week of June 30 until the week of July 18.  Camp participants will be provided a light snack and lunch.  We are accepting applications for our JavaScript Coding Camp until June 9. A limited number of opportunities will be awarded to applicants after review of applications.
