The SOSD Program Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the development, coordination, and implementation of the Save Our Sons and Daughters program. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and community stakeholders.
You’ll support youth and families through intentional programming that focuses on stability, growth, and long-term success.
🔹 Workforce Specialist
The Workforce Specialist provides hands-on, comprehensive support to program participants on their journey toward career readiness and advancement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching, problem-solving, and helping individuals translate their skills into real opportunities.
Responsibilities include assessment, career planning, coaching, and skill development—all with the goal of helping participants achieve sustainable employment.
🔹 Outreach & Placement Specialist
The Outreach and Placement Specialist leads community and employer outreach, builds referral pipelines, and supports participant placement into stable employment.
This role focuses on cultivating strong partnerships with schools, training providers, community-based organizations, and employers to expand access to meaningful job opportunities across Memphis.
