The Grand reopening of the Whitehaven Library’s Discover Read area was a great success! First-grade students of Robert R Church Elementary were able to visit the branch to enjoy a story time and test out all of the newly updated educational features of this space designated just for them. Activities included arts and crafts, costume play, the STEM library, a cozy firehouse, a puppet show, and aerobics. The students, along with the staff, all had an enjoyable experience. Thanks so much to the entire Whitehaven team (staff and volunteers) for all of your help in ensuring the success of the newly redesigned Discover Read Area!
