About Bluff City Life: Bluff City Life celebrates the essence of Memphis and the Mid-South, highlighting its rich food, music, arts, culture, and community passion. As part of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating engaging content that resonates with you.
Job Summary/Description:
This person will serve as a segment producer, segment host, and occasional fill-in host for Bluff City Life. Will shoot, write, and edit stories that focus on local events and community interests. Will meet daily deadlines for content delivery, and will write and publish stories across various social media and digital platforms.
They will also maintain and update station website and social media accounts and ensure adherence to station branding and promotion. Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director.

Qualifications/Requirements
– The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player with a positive attitude. They will have integrity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset. They must have experience with The Adobe Creative Suite, reporting on-air, and very strong camera and editing skills. Knowledge of DSLR and Black Magic equipment is a plus. The ability to interact professionally and effectively with all internal WMC employees and external organizations is a must. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable with extended periods of sitting and using telephone/computer workstation.
– Some weekends may be required.
– Must have a clean driving record.
– A college degree or equivalent is preferred.
