The Sr. Warehouse Manager will ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, performance, and cost through meaningful engagements with Food Bank staff, best-in-class service to all internal and external customers, and safe and profitable operations. They will use their expertise in managing inventory and warehouse operations to develop staff and improve existing processes and procedures. They will ensure the safe, accurate, and timely receiving and storage of all inbound products, inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution of all outbound orders while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and food safety at all operating facilities.
Basic Requirements for the Successful Candidate:
- A minimum of five years of experience in inventory and warehouse management required.
- Broad knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
- Ability to openly and effectively communicate with all associates/departments within the company.
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, etc.).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control systems is a plus.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
