National Volunteer Month

MPL Homecoming 2022 National Volunteer Month

april is National Volunteer month!

National Volunteer Month is an opportunity to recognize the impact of our volunteers and their service to the Memphis Public Libraries. Volunteers generously donate a part of their lives to do much needed work such cleaning up after the event, shelving, sorting donated books, and helping our librarians. This month, we salute you for your unwavering services to our customers and programs.

Interested in becoming a volunteer at the library? You can look at all the perks and potential positions on our Volunteer for the Library page.

Our values and principles are by people who care.  We would like to thank our volunteers for their years of service.
